Amelia Emergency Squad volunteers have been serving Amelia County since 1958. Our volunteers save the squad hundreds of thousands of dollars every year, and they still perform all of the normal duties of a career EMS service. The squad is always looking for new volunteers, and no prior training or experience is required!
Joining the rescue squad is an excellent opportunity to serve the community and help your neighbors when they need you most. Volunteering is also a great way to step foot in the medical field, and it can easily lead to a career. There are many training opportunities and even tuition reimbursement available.
